We're looking for an experiencedKafka Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team, supporting and evolving enterprise event streaming platforms across bothon-premises Kafka andConfluent Cloud running on Kubernetes. You'll help design, build, migrate and optimise scalable, secure, and highly available streaming solutions in a hybrid environment.
You'll bring:
- Strong experience administering and supportingApache Kafka in on-premises environments
- Hands-on experience withConfluent Cloud andKubernetes
- Knowledge ofKafka Connect, Schema Registry, KRaft/ZooKeeper, ACLs, RBAC, and security best practices
- Experience withTerraform, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Strong troubleshooting skills, performance tuning experience, and a solid understanding of distributed systems
This is an excellent contract opportunity to work on modern event streaming platforms and cloud-native technologies within a collaborative engineering team.
