Job Description

We are looking for an experiencedSenior Platform Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience inGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) andTerraform, with expertise in building, automating, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure onGCP.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) usingTerraform.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Build and support cloud platform services and reusable infrastructure components.
• Work closely with DevOps, Software Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams.
• Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, reliability, and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud platform issues.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery of cloud environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expert-level experience withTerraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with GCP services such as:
  • Compute Engine
  • GKE
  • Cloud Storage
  • VPC
  • IAM
  • Cloud Functions
  • Cloud SQL
• Experience withKubernetes and containerization.
• Strong understanding ofCI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience with Git and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and observability.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
