Planogram Analyst - BlueYonder (JDA)

About The Job:

• We are seeking an experiencedBlueYonder Planogram Analyst to develop visually appealing and versioned planograms based on store clustering, space definitions, and approved category flow guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with Category Management and Space Planning teams to ensure planograms meet assortment, merchandising, and business objectives while maintaining high standards of execution and quality.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in BlueYonder/JDA Space Planning, retail merchandising principles, data analysis, and project execution within Retail or FMCG environments.

Essential Job Functions:
Functional Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for assigned categories and regions by developing deep process and category expertise.
• Acquire strong customer and category knowledge to improve planogram and space allocation decisions.
• Deliver visually appealing versioned planograms based on store clustering, space definitions, and approved merchandising flow.
• Conduct planogram quality control reviews to ensure alignment with assortment requirements, visual standards, innovation opportunities, and shelving metrics.
• Ensure project timelines are met through proactive tracking, coordination, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
• Utilize sales, assortment, and space data to allocate the appropriate shelf space for products.
• Identify and eliminate reporting redundancies while promoting best practices across the team.
• Demonstrate accountability when managing high-visibility requests and time-sensitive deliverables.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment, focusing on overall team success and business objectives.
• Continuously learn and apply advanced capabilities within BlueYonder/JDA and supporting analytical tools.
• Support peers by sharing expertise, best practices, and value-added recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve planogram quality, consistency, and delivery timelines through process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with category strategies, space planning standards, and merchandising guidelines.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in Space Planning using BlueYonder/JDA, preferably within Retail or FMCG industries.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with BlueYonder/JDA Space Management solutions.
• Strong understanding of retail merchandising and category management principles.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong data analysis and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience developing and managing planograms, space optimization, and assortment strategies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality output.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Excellent project coordination, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally across various levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
