This position is responsible for:
Ā The oversight of all planned gift resources, trust and estate activity in the Southern Territory to support the Territorial Planned Giving Director in the interpretation and administration of planned giving donor programs including new business development, trusteeship, gift administration, gift termination, gift settlement and field documentation training.Ā Responsible for program management to support Territorial and Division Planned Giving functions. Manages promotions projects both internally and with Promotions Partners. -. Management of the planned giving databases, field reporting, leadership reporting and the Territorial Planned Giving Staff Manual. Ensures all duties and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with established procedures, policies and regulations. This position reports to the Director of Planned Giving.
Key Responsibilities:

Supports the Territorial Planned Giving Director in the workflow including (but not limited to) communication with Cummings & Lockwood (our Planned Gift Legal Counsel) as needed to process requests for the drafting of Trust Agreements, clarify the interpretation of Federal or State regulatory statutes and other donor legal matters as identified.

Serves as the liaison between the Planned Giving Section, the Legal Department, the Office of Investments, the Finance Department, the Property Department, and Division stakeholders. Ensures all projects, inquiries, and related deliverables are handled in a timely and appropriate manner.Ā

Coordinates with the Territorial Planned Giving Director to support trust requests from Division stakeholders, and has planned giving legal counsel prepare specimen documents for presentation to a prospective donor. Ā
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Ability to communicate effectively so others can understand.
Ability to work with machines that support day-to-day workflow, including computers, copiers, telephones, etc.
Ability to travel as needed for field visits, training, or educational conferences.Ā
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a normal office environment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Education and Experience
Bachelorās Degree from an accredited college or university in Legal, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field,Ā
and
5 years progressively responsible nonprofit experience; preferably with experience in Planned Giving, preferred
and
any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Work experience concerning Planned Gifts, Estate Settlement, Trust Administration or related fields concerning Planned Gifts; preferably
Supervisory or Management experience, preferably
or
Experience providing detailed guidance and training to support personnel, helping to plan, evaluate and approve their work.
