Job Summary
We are seeking a Piping & Space Management Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in semiconductor FAB, advanced technology facilities, life sciences, industrial, pharmaceutical, or similar projects.

The candidate will support piping layout development, equipment arrangement, space management, utility distribution planning, 2D/3D modelling and interdisciplinary coordination during concept, basic and detailed engineering stages.

The role requires a good understanding of piping layouts, utility systems, equipment arrangements, access requirements and BIM coordination. The candidate should be able to work independently on assigned areas while coordinating effectively with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed piping layouts, equipment layouts, plant room layouts and utility distribution layouts based on engineering requirements.
- Support development of Site Master Plans, General Arrangement drawings, sector layouts, utility corridors and pipe rack layouts.
- Assist in space allocation and optimization for process utilities, mechanical systems, electrical systems, chemical/gas systems and other building services.
- Develop piping routes considering equipment connections, access, maintenance, operation, safety and constructability requirements.
- Work on utility systems including UPW, PCW/CW, CHW, CDA, Nitrogen, Argon, process chemicals, specialty gases, bulk gases, exhaust and waste systems.
- Prepare and update 2D layouts, sections, elevations and 3D piping models.
- Support development and maintenance of LOD-300/350 models for multidisciplinary coordination.
- Review equipment layouts and coordinate piping interfaces with Process and equipment teams.
- Review vendor and GC models and identify relevant interfaces with the project model.
- Prepare design drawings and documentation in accordance with project standards and specifications.
- Support clash detection, model reviews and resolution of design conflicts.
- Follow BIM Execution Plans (BEP), modelling standards and project-specific procedures.

Co-ordination:
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Architectural, HVAC and other disciplines.
- Support interdisciplinary space management and model coordination meetings.
- Perform clash detection and support resolution using Navisworks / ACC / BIM coordination platforms.
- Coordinate piping routes with structural elements, equipment, cable trays, HVAC systems and other building services.
- Coordinate with senior engineers for design decisions, routing strategies and space optimization.
- Maintain model and drawing updates based on interdisciplinary review comments.
Experience & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / chemical engineering / related discipline.
- 5–9 years of relevant experience in piping design, plant layout, space management or multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
- Experience in Semiconductor FAB, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or similar projects is preferred.
- Good understanding of piping layouts, equipment arrangements and industrial utility systems.
- Experience in developing plant layouts, equipment layouts, piping plans and utility distribution layouts.
- Good working knowledge of Revit/AVEVA E3D / PDMS, AutoCAD, Navisworks and ACC/BIM coordination platforms.
