About the Role
We’re looking for physical therapists in Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley to help patients restore mobility, regain function, and return to the activities that matter to them. You’ll treat approximately 14 patients per day across a varied outpatient caseload, with a full hour scheduled for each evaluation. Shift openings are available seven days a week, from 7:30 AM-5:00 PM, with Friday hours of 7:30 AM-4:00 PM. Flexible schedules within these hours, including part-time arrangements, are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Use one-hour evaluations to understand each patient’s needs, establish meaningful goals, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Help patients recover from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, surgery, and joint replacements through hands-on rehabilitation.
- Improve mobility and everyday function for patients with chronic pain, neurologic conditions, and geriatric rehabilitation needs.
- Manage approximately 14 patients per day across evaluations and treatment visits while keeping care focused on individual needs.
- Track patient progress and adapt treatment plans as goals, abilities, and needs change.
- Coordinate with speech and occupational therapy providers to support patients receiving care across disciplines.
- Build trust with patients and families through clear communication, consistent care, and a relationship-focused approach.
- Active physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in California.
- Ability to evaluate patients and deliver individualized, hands-on physical therapy.
- Readiness to manage the varied outpatient caseload and daily patient volume described above.
- Clear communication with patients, families, and colleagues across disciplines.
- Availability to work on-site at one of our clinics during an agreed schedule within clinic hours.
No minimum years of experience are required; new graduates are welcome.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to orthopedic, sports injury, or post-surgical rehabilitation through employment or clinical placements.
- Experience with chronic pain, neurologic rehabilitation, or geriatric care.
- Interest or experience in pediatric physical therapy.
- Experience collaborating with speech or occupational therapy providers.
- Medical insurance premium contributions: 90% for the HMO option or 80% for the PPO or high-deductible, HSA-compatible plan.
- Dental and vision insurance premiums paid at 100%.
- 120 hours of paid time off per year, including sick time, plus seven paid holidays at eight hours each.
- Up to $1,000 per year in reimbursement for pre-approved continuing education.
- 401(k) employer match of 100% on contributions up to the first 3% of compensation, plus 50% on the next 2%, for a maximum employer match of 4%.
- Optional employee-funded, pre-tax accounts: a Health Savings Account and a Dependent Care Spending Account for eligible licensed child care.
- Relocation reimbursement available, with details and any sign-on bonus discussed together as part of your compensation package.
