What you will be doing:
The Photography and Video Project Manager leads the end-to-end production and delivery of integrated marketing campaign assets for OXO. This role translates campaign strategy, media plans, product launch priorities, and channel requirements into clear scopes, tiered production plans, budgets, workbacks, and final deliverables. The role requires strong knowledge of paid and owned media asset needs, with extensive experience delivering social-first video, photography, digital, e-commerce, retail, and other campaign content across formats, placements, aspect ratios, cutdowns, and usage requirements. This person manages multiple production vendors and agency partners across several concurrent, tiered campaigns, ensuring assets are delivered on time, on budget, on brand, and ready for activation. The ideal candidate brings experience from a complex consumer-products organization similar to OXO, where a large SKU catalog, seasonal launches, retailer needs, and high asset volume require disciplined prioritization and operational rigor. This is a senior individual-contributor role with strong cross-functional influence, ownership, and decision-making responsibility.
- Lead end-to-end production planning and execution for integrated marketing campaigns, from brief through final asset delivery and archival.
- Partner with Marketing, Creative, Media, E-commerce, Sales, Product Development, and Legal teams to translate campaign objectives into actionable production plans.
- Develop asset matrices, workback schedules, and production scopes aligned to media plans across social, digital, e-commerce, CRM, web, retail media, and retailer channels.
- Apply tiered production strategies based on campaign priorities, budgets, business impact, and channel needs.
- Forecast production needs across product launches, seasonal campaigns, retailer requirements, and a large SKU portfolio.
- Manage campaign scope, timelines, budgets, approvals, dependencies, and stakeholder communication in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead social-first and digital content production, ensuring deliverables meet platform specifications, localization, accessibility, rights, and versioning requirements.
- Manage external agencies, vendors, creators, and production partners, including RFPs, SOWs, estimates, negotiations, and performance.
- Oversee production logistics including talent, locations, studios, usage rights, post-production, reviews, and final delivery.
- Identify and mitigate production risks, resolve issues proactively, and provide clear recommendations on tradeoffs, timing, and budget impacts.
- Own production budgeting, forecasting, purchase orders, accruals, invoices, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Maintain production systems, trackers, schedules, asset records, and reporting to ensure visibility and operational excellence.
- Drive standardized production workflows, approval processes, templates, and best practices while continuously improving efficiency and asset reuse.
- Ensure all campaign assets are approved, quality-checked, compliant, properly documented, and delivered in launch-ready formats.
- Partner with Legal and channel owners to ensure claims, licensing, usage rights, metadata, and compliance requirements are met before release.
- Lead launch-readiness reviews to validate deliverables against media plans and address any gaps before campaign launch.
- Provide leadership, coaching, prioritization, and development support for two direct reports supporting photography and video production.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
- Strong knowledge of media platform specifications, asset delivery standards, localization, rights management, versioning, and digital content distribution.
- Experience leading complex, integrated campaign production from brief through launch across social, digital, e-commerce, retail media, CRM, web, print, packaging, and retailer channels.
- Proven ability to translate media plans into detailed asset requirements, production schedules, workbacks, budgets, approvals, and launch plans.
- Expertise in social-first content production, including modular capture strategies and multi-channel asset adaptation.
- Experience managing high-volume deliverables across large product portfolios, seasonal launches, and multiple concurrent campaigns.
- Strong vendor management skills, including oversight of agencies, production companies, creators, studios, photographers, editors, and other external partners.
- Experience developing and managing RFPs, scopes of work, bids, budgets, forecasts, risk mitigation plans, and production timelines.
- Proficiency with project management, workflow, DAM, proofing, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, video production/post-production workflows, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, attention to detail, operational discipline, and follow-through.Â
