Position Overview

We are seeking aSkilled TIG Welder with experience weldingTool & Die components. This role will involveboth TIG welding and laser welding. Prior laser welding experience isnot required, we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong TIG fundamentals and attention to detail are critical.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Performprecision TIG welding on Tool & Die components
• Laser weld components (training provided)
• Select and identify proper materials, includingweld wire and filler selection
• Prepare materials for welding (grinding, cleaning, fit-up)
• Read and work fromcomplex blueprints, drawings, and written/verbal instructions
• Compute, verify, and documentdimensions and tolerances
• Determine appropriate welding practices for each application
• Inspect and verify part quality
• Contribute tocontinuous improvement of shop processes
• Ability to think critically and “outside the box” when solving repair challenges
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Position Demands

• Ability to lift and/or move up to50 lbs
• Ability tosit for extended periods daily
• Must passvision screening
• Overtime available during peak workloads or special projects
• Performs repetitive, high-precision work
