Title: Performance Specialist

Location: Open (Local/nearby candidates preferred; must be able to travel to Smithfield, RI as needed – travel and accommodation will be covered)
Duration: 9 Months contract

Role Overview

Client is seeking aPerformance Specialist to support its Performance Measurement & Analytics team, specifically aligned with theCustom SMA (Separately Managed Accounts) business.

This role is critical to maintaining continuity ofclient reporting, performance analytics, and marketing deliverables during a transition period following the retirement of a senior performance lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Performportfolio performance calculations and ensure accuracy across client reporting
• Supportcustom SMA reporting and analytics deliverables for internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and validateperformance data, ensuring consistency and integrity
• Partner withinvestment professionals, marketing teams, and technology teams
• Assist in creation and maintenance ofclient-ready reports and presentations
• Troubleshoot discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of performance-related issues
• Maintain documentation of methodologies, processes, and reporting standards

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience ininvestment performance measurement and analytics
• Solid understanding ofperformance calculations (e.g., returns, attribution, benchmarking)
• Experience working withSMA (Separately Managed Accounts) or similar investment products
• Proficiency inExcel (advanced functions, data manipulation, reporting)
• Strongdata management and validation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with bothtechnical teams and investment professionals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withperformance systems/tools (e.g., FactSet, Bloomberg, Eagle, etc.)
• Background inasset management, wealth management, or financial services
• Exposure toclient reporting and marketing performance materials
