Performance Marketing Consultant (Open Application)

The role

Curamando is growing and is now looking for a performance marketing consultant with a strong commercial focus. You’ll work with a range of clients, from mid-sized companies to large enterprises and help them turn media spend into sales. One month you might set up the paid strategy and measurement model for a retail brand. Next, you could be helping an industrial company onboard its performance marketing agency and agree on shared KPIs.

You’ll work embedded with clients, both strategically and hands-on. You’ll set direction and priorities and you’ll work in the paid channels yourself when it makes a difference. You’ll often take a natural team lead role for a mix of client specialists and agency partners, creating structure and keeping everyone focused on clear goals.

Paid media is changing fast. Platforms are increasingly run by algorithms and AI is reshaping how customers search and buy. You’ll help clients win in that shift by giving the algorithms the right data and signals, scaling creative testing and measuring what really drives incremental sales. AI is also part of how you work every day, and you’ll help clients and teams get more done with less effort.

About you

You’ve worked with performance marketing for several years, at a brand, a media agency or a consultancy. You’re comfortable with both strategic and operational work and you’ve led or coordinated other specialists along the way. You have a clear commercial mindset and want to understand what actually drives sales and profitable growth. You’re driven and you don’t need a big title to feel important. If a project needs someone to write the brief, rework the plan or sit down with the agency to fix what isn’t working, you do what’s needed.

You’re curious and solution-oriented. You question spend that doesn’t pay off and suggest a better way forward. You keep up with how the platforms are changing and enjoy figuring out what it means for your clients. Clients and colleagues trust you because you listen, you’re straightforward and you follow through.

We are looking for someone who

• Has 7+ years of experience in performance marketing or paid media in larger and/or enterprise organisations

• Knows the main paid channels well, such as search, social, programmatic and display, and still enjoys working hands-on in them

• Gets the most out of AI-driven campaign types such as Performance Max and Advantage+, including conversion tracking, first-party data and value-based bidding

• Understands and masters the full funnel from awareness to conversion and sales, with particular strength in the lower funnel

• Makes decisions based on data and knows how to measure what works, through ROI analysis, attribution, incrementality and campaign follow-up

• Has owned budgets, channel priorities and commercial KPIs

• Has led or coordinated other specialists and steered media and performance agencies

• Uses AI in their own work, for example in analysis, creative testing and reporting, and helps teams do the same

• Is fluent in Swedish and English and is based in Gothenburg or willing to relocate

It is an advantage if you have

• Consulting or media agency experience

• Worked with marketing mix modelling or incrementality testing

• Used generative AI to produce and test creative at scale

• An interest in how AI search and agentic commerce affect paid media

• Set up KPI frameworks or ways of working between a client and its agencies
