Title: Performance Engineer
Location: Toronto ,Ontario
Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in performance engineering
- Strong foundation in programming and scripting
- Understanding of DevOps and Agile Methodology
- Understanding of RESTful API design
- Must have experience in Garbage Collection Analysis and Server/Host Capacity Analysis
- Understanding of Three-tier web architecture pattern and Client-Server model
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with BlazeMeter and other APM tools (e.g., App Dynamics, New Relic)
- Knowledge of cloud computing and IBM PMAT
- Familiarity with NodeJS Frameworks such as ExpressJS, KeystoneJS, SocketIO
- Experience with Bootstrap CSS framework, Git, Bit Bucket, MongoDB
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and using Confluence
- Knowledge of Python, Jython, Java, C#, Ruby, VBA for Excel
- Experience with Jenkins for Continuous Integration, Splunk, Jira, HP ALM
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead test planning, preparation, and execution activities
- Analyze, develop, debug, execute, and maintain complex automated test cases
- Coordinate testing planning and support with partners
- Lead documentation creation, review, and sign-off
- Apply risk analysis methodologies and tools
- Ensure testing does not impact the production environment
- Chair daily defect status calls and report on test planning
- Build and maintain test environments; monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
- Coordinate code deployments, maintenance upgrades, and project testing
- Participate in audit reviews of test artifacts
- Communicate and address scope changes
- Track financials and resources needed for projects
- Coach colleagues and act as a reference for the requirements management life cycle
