The role

You’ll own how People Operations runs in every country we operate in, today and as we expand. That means payroll closes under control, data we can trust, and processes nobody has to chase.

You’ll report to our Head of People and lead a team of People Ops Specialists, with an Ops Specialist supporting you on the technical side of our tools.

What you’ll do

• Makepayroll accurate and reliable in every country: choose, manage and, when needed, replace our local providers, and own the monthly close (calendar, cut-offs, pre- and post-run checks, reconciliation with Finance)

• Ownour HRIS (HiBob) as our single source of truth, and its connection to payroll in every country

• Run theemployee lifecycle, benefits and ESOP administration across Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Bulgaria and every new market we open

• Keep each countrycompliant: map the risks, decide what to fix first and track it to closure

• Design processes and data withmeasurement in mind, and useAI to remove manual work

• Lead and grow the team
  

What you bring

• Solid experience in HR or People Operations,owning processes end to end, including the Italian employment framework

• Hands-on experiencerunning payroll through external providers: month-end close, controls, reconciliations and provider management

• Experienceowning an HRIS and connecting it to payroll (e.g. HiBob with JetHR, PayFit, Deel)

• A track record ofautomating HR processes, with concrete AI use cases you can walk us through

• Fluent Italian and English

Nice to have

• HR operations experience outside Italy

• Hands-on experience with HiBob

• HR analytics

What we offer

• Salary: €55,000–65,000 gross per year

• Hybrid work: at least three days a week in our Milan HQ, with flexibility

• Meal vouchers: €7 per working day
