People Manager

We're seeking to welcome a People Manager into our team. This position serves as the key People point of contact for an EPAM site, tasked with shaping local People strategy, converting global and regional goals into tangible local outcomes, and acting as the top advisor and escalation resource for site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with site leaders to inject a People-focused angle into major decisions and the development of the local strategy
• Direct and maintain alignment of local People initiatives with the larger regional framework and company-wide aims
• Analyze site-specific metrics including engagement, turnover, and performance results, collaborating with leadership to formulate effective action plans
• Tailor and introduce People-related programs, processes, and policies suited to the specific local context
• Uphold continuous compliance with both local labor laws and company-wide policy frameworks
• Serve as the central contact for navigating sensitive employee situations, including conflict management and compliance-related matters
• Observe indicators tied to organizational health and swiftly inform leadership when risks start to appear
• Function as the connector between global and regional People teams and on-site realities, facilitating effective execution and continuous feedback
• Assist in building location-specific programs focused on driving stronger performance, cultivating culture, and improving the overall employee experience

Requirements

• A minimum of eight years of relevant experience functioning autonomously at a regional or site level, managing complex, cross-functional People projects and organizational change
• No less than three years occupying Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner-level positions
• Demonstrated success overseeing projects involving 20 or more full-time team members
• Thorough knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements, coupled with sound judgment to reconcile global priorities with local needs
• Background managing large-scale or multiple teams, with proven results in coaching and developing future people leaders
• Comfortable engaging directly with clients and senior-level stakeholders, influencing decisions tied to satisfaction and overall outcomes
• Strong business sense combined with advanced-to-expert proficiency in stakeholder management, communication, and emotional intelligence
• Proficient English skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or above
