People Manager

We're on the lookout for a People Manager to come join our team. Serving as the principal People liaison for an EPAM site, this role involves driving local People strategy, aligning global and regional direction with practical, local implementation, and standing as the primary advisor and point of escalation for site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with site leadership, providing a People-centered viewpoint that shapes important decisions and the local roadmap
• Guide and synchronize local People programs to ensure they remain consistent with the regional structure and overarching business objectives
• Examine site-level indicators such as engagement, attrition, and performance data, partnering with leadership to craft appropriate action steps
• Adjust and introduce People programs, workflows, and policies designed around the particular needs of the local environment
• Ensure ongoing compliance with both regional labor laws and established corporate standards
• Act as the primary point of contact for addressing sensitive workforce issues, spanning conflict resolution to compliance matters
• Monitor indicators of organizational health and alert leadership promptly when risks begin to surface
• Operate as the connecting thread between global/regional People operations and local conditions, supporting seamless delivery and continuous feedback loops
• Contribute to developing location-specific programs aimed at boosting performance, shaping culture, and enhancing the employee experience

Requirements

• At least eight years of applicable experience operating independently at a regional or site level, overseeing complex, cross-functional People projects and organizational change initiatives
• A minimum of three years held in Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner-level capacities
• Proven capability managing initiatives that involve teams of 20 or more full-time employees
• Strong command of HR practices, labor legislation, and compliance matters, combined with the discernment to reconcile global strategy with local needs
• Experience leading large-scale or multiple teams, with demonstrated success coaching and developing emerging people leaders
• Comfort working directly with clients and senior-level stakeholders, influencing outcomes tied to satisfaction and business results
• Solid business judgment paired with advanced-to-expert capabilities in stakeholder engagement, communication, and emotional intelligence
• Strong English language skills, both spoken and written, at a B2 level or higher

• Carrying a relevant professional certification would be viewed as a beneficial extra
