About the Internship

We are seeking aPeople Analytics Intern to join ourTime to Shine Internship Program at Fossil Group HQ in Richardson, TX. This 10-week summer program offers hands-on experience exploring how people's data and analytics inform HR strategy, organizational effectiveness, and business decisions within a global organization.

You’ll support meaningful projects involving workforce trends, HR reporting, employee engagement, and AI transformation while collaborating with HR partners and cross-functional teams. Through mentorship, professional development opportunities, and a capstone project, you’ll learn how to turn data into actionable insights that support our people and business goals.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Support People Analytics initiatives by gathering, organizing, and analyzing HR data to identify workforce trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Assist with HR reporting, dashboards, and metrics related to areas such as headcount, talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, and workforce development.

• Help translate people data into actionable insights and recommendations that support business decisions and enhance the employee experience.

• Contribute toAI transformation initiatives, researching opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to improve HR processes, workflows, and organizational effectiveness.

• Conduct research and support projects related to workforce planning, employee experience, and continuous improvement.

• Help maintain accurate HR data, documentation, and reports while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and appropriate handling of sensitive information.

• Collaborate with HR partners and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and support data-driven initiatives.

• Partner with a dedicated mentor for guidance, feedback, and professional development.

• Participate in workshops, lunch & learns, and panel discussions focused on HR, analytics, technology, and business fundamentals.

• Build connections across the organization and present acapstone project to Fossil leadership, showcasing your findings, insights, and recommendations.

• Bring curiosity, critical thinking, and innovative ideas to collaborative projects.

Who You Are (Requirements)

• Currently pursuing aBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Psychology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.

• At least 18 years old by the start of the program.

• Excited to workin person at Fossil Group HQ in Richardson, TX, Monday through Thursday onsite and Friday remotely.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with an interest in identifying patterns, interpreting data, and solving problems.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy when working with data and documentation.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain findings and present recommendations to different audiences.

• Curious about how people analytics, AI, technology, and organizational strategy intersect.

• Comfortable handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization, reporting tools, or data analysis is a plus.

• Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
