Are you ready to build your career by joining a healthcare provider? If so, our client is hiring a Patient Services Coordinator.
Position Type:
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
- On-Site
- Patient Services Specialist (PSS)
- SCHEDULE:Â Monday - Friday, 0815-1700 (45min lunch // no weekends, no holidays, no call)
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Â 1 year of experience in medical office or related healthcare experience
- Primary tasks consist of answering ALL incoming calls to Call Center.
- Messages are to be sent via Microsoft Teams in the appropriate group chat
- Secure chats are to be sent to the Intake Team for New Patient scheduling with the appropriate patient needing to be scheduled
- Calls are to be properly warm transferred to care team.
- Create telephone encounters using .callintake template and route to proper care team pool via Epic if care team is unavailable.
- Provide general information (address, appointment confirmation, fax number) to caller if information is within scope of care.
- Assist with helping PCCs with additional task when call volume is low or otherwise requested by supervisor and/or lead.
- Expected to rotate in the office 3 times a month on their assigned days which are posted in Schedule Anywhere.
