Patient Care Technician PCT - Med Surg - Full Time DAYS -

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma, GED, or completion of a nursing assistant program required. Will consider two years as a certified nursing assistant or patient care tech in lieu of education.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants, Certified Nurse Assistant through the Louisiana State Department of Health, or Certified Patient Care Technician/Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant through the National Health Careers Association
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider through the American Heart Association
• Non-Violent Crisis Prevention through the Crisis Prevention Institute. (obtained within 90 days of hire)
