Patient Accounts Coordinator

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Salary Range: $25 - $30/hr.

Introduction

The role supports scheduling and patient coordination efforts within the Orthopedics specialty. This position is responsible for managing high-volume appointment scheduling, assisting patients with access to care, coordinating with clinical teams, and ensuring an efficient and positive patient experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Healthcare or medical office scheduling experience
• High-volume patient scheduling or call center background
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills
• Experience working in EMR/EHR systems
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Prior work experience in the healthcare industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish highly preferred)
• Orthopedics or specialty clinic experience
• Insurance verification or referrals knowledge

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and eligibility functions
• Act as a liaison, facilitating communication between patients, medical staff, and healthcare teams
• Gather patient demographics, insurance information, and referral documentation
• Coordinate patient communication and care between patients and healthcare providers
• Ensure a smooth patient experience by addressing concerns and facilitating information flow
