Job Details:Â
Schedule:  Full-time, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM–4:30 PM.
Location:  Penn Yan, NY – 14527.
Float / Coverage Area:Â
Job Type:Local contract
Contract Length:13-week contract (Possible extension)
Pay Range:$25.00 to $28.00/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. Â

Duties:Â
- Oversee daily patient registration and access operations.
- Train staff on procedures, policies, cash collection, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor staff performance, productivity, accuracy, and registration quality.
- Ensure timely referrals and authorizations and accurate patient information.
- Minimize claim denials, revenue loss, and registration errors.
- Identify process improvements and support departmental goals.
- Collaborate with billing, scheduling, laboratory, care management, and other departments.
- Maintain confidentiality and promote professional, respectful patient service.
- Education:High school diploma/equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.Â

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Patient Access or Patient Financial Services.
- Knowledge of insurance requirements, medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10.
- Experience with front-end collections and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Skills/Specialties/Technology:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work effectively with the public.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
