Patient Access Coordinator | Bluegrass Orthopaedics 

Bluegrass Orthopaedics is seeking a friendly, organized full-timePatient Access Coordinator to join our team.

ThePatient Access Coordinator plays an important role in creating a positive patient experience by welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, collecting accurate demographic and insurance information, and supporting our clinical teams.  

What You Will Do:

• Greet patients and visitors in person and by phone.
• Schedule appointments for physicians and physician assistants. 
• Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information 
• Assist patients with insurance paperwork and general billing questions
• Maintain accurate patient records and schedules
• Communicate appointment information to clinical teams
• Provide professional and compassionate customer service in a fast-paced medical office environment. 

Qualifications

What We are Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities throughout the day
• Comfort using computers, phone systems, and electronic records
• Medical office experience preferred, but not required
• EMR or practice management experience a plus
• Ability to travel between BGO locations throughout Lexington, KY market.
