Pathology Transcriber

Duration: 13 weeks
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: 718 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ, 07666

Responsibilities:

• Transcribe or proofread approximately 50 reports/cases per day.
• Handle approximately 15-20 reference lab/consultation cases per day.
• Support Tumor Board, Surgical Review Committee, consultation cases, and other internal conferences approximately 2-3 times per week.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a pathology office or related pathology environment.
• Proficiency in medical and pathology terminology.
• Experience in medical transcription, proofreading, and medical documentation processing.
• Ability to type 45-50 WPM with strong transcription and proofreading accuracy.
• Experience in supporting a Pathology department or comparable pathology workflow.
• Experience in a high-volume, detail-intensive healthcare environment.
• Ability to manage multiple documentation and administrative priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with PowerPath LIS and WebHIS systems.
