The mission of Thales International in theEUROPE DGDI, EURASIA DGDI, and LATAM DGDI regions is to foster and manage the growth of Thales Group’s presence in all countries of these regions acrossaerospace, transport, space, defense, security, and identity domains. In this context, theRegional Hub supports Thales Operational Units’ initiatives for exporting their solutions to customers in the Regions. Business activities are conducted through the local presence of dedicated organizations (representative offices, branches, subsidiaries, JVs) as well aslocal Key Industrial Partners (KIP) andBusiness Advisers (BA).
TheJob Holder will play a pivotal role in thedevelopment and management of the regional business organization, ensuring close day-to-day relationships with senior management. They will contribute to thereinforcement of governance and compliance within the Regional Company and related Regions, particularly regarding thequality and relevance of KIP and BA process management.
TheJob Holder will be based on afull-time basis in Madrid (Spain) and may travel occasionally to countries within the scope of the Regional Hub. Key Responsibilities
Working in close contact with various stakeholders in theRegional Company environment, the Job Holder will take care, in particular, of:
- Managing the EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) process forKIP, BA candidates, and Third Parties in coordination with theLegal Director.
- Ensuring compliance of the yearly budget by providingquarterly updates to the CFO and Legal Director.
- Supporting the Industrial Operations Director inKIP selection for projects, including the preparation ofJustification and Partnership Memos in coordination withCountry Directors, BA/KIP Directors, and Thales Group Operating Units & Corporate.
- Managing the completion of KIP and BA files under the supervision of theBA/KIP Directors, from the preparation of theDue Diligence Form to thevalidation of qualification.
- Ensuring regular quality control of KIP/BA files, including thepreparation and follow-up of Risk Factors clearance action plans and theupdate of the KIP/BA Dashboard.
- Participating in periodical meetings withCountry Directors, Operational Units, and BA/KIP Directors for updates and alignment.
- Organizing the evaluation of KIP/BA portfolios and related activities in coordination withCountry Directors (CDs), BA/KIP Directors, Industrial Operations Director, and Operating Units.
- Ensuring the completion of services listed in theannual agreements signed betweenThales EURAM and the Operating Units involved.
- Reinforcing governance and compliance within the Regional Company and related Regions, ensuring adherence toethical and governance best practices in line withAmbition 10.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Experience: Professional experience in an international environment.
- Languages: Fluent in English and French (oral and written). Spanish is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Autonomous, rigorous, self-confident, and teamwork-capable.
- Proactive, adaptable, multi-tasked, with a strong interest inlocal cultures and traditions.
- Yearning for legal and financial aspects to mobilize internal stakeholders toward common objectives.
- Additional Assets:
- Good knowledge of Thales’ environment, culture, and processes is a plus.
