Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and qualifiedQualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide behavioral health services at theMorgan County Detention Center in Georgia.

This is an ideal opportunity for a mental health professional looking for asmall, consistent part-time commitment of approximately 6 hours per week while making a meaningful impact in a unique healthcare environment.

Qualified candidates may include aLicensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Psychiatric Registered Nurse with the appropriate mental health experience and credentials.

What You’ll Do

As a QMHP with Southern Health Partners, you’ll provide behavioral health support to patients within a safe and secure correctional healthcare setting.

• Provide mental health assessments and behavioral health services
• Evaluate patients for mental health needs and changes in condition
• Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions as appropriate
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and document services provided
• Identify and respond to behavioral health concerns
• Collaborate with the healthcare team regarding patient care
• Provide education and support to patients regarding mental health needs
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation

Qualifications

Qualifications

Qualified candidates may include:

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN)

Additional requirements:

• Current, unrestricted professional license appropriate to the role
• Experience providing behavioral health or mental health services
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to providing compassionate, professional care in a correctional setting

Correctional healthcare experience isnot required.
