What You'll DoAs a Funeral Director with New Comer, you'll play an important role in supporting families through some of life's most difficult moments. Depending on the needs of our funeral homes, your responsibilities may include:

• Guiding families through funeral arrangements with compassion, professionalism and care.
• Directing funeral and memorial services that create meaningful experiences for families.
• Coordinating and supervising visitations and services.
• Assisting with removals, decedent care and preparation as needed.
• Collaborating with fellow team members to ensure every family receives exceptional service.
• Maintaining a safe, organized and welcoming environment while following applicable regulations and company policies.

Qualifications
Qualified applicants will hold and maintain a Funeral Director/Embalmer license that is valid in your area or possess the ability to reciprocate, have passed the National Board Exam and maintain a valid Driver's License.  Additionally, the following may be required:

• A minimum of one year of similar or related experience.
• Possess necessary licensure or other certification to meet local or state legal requirements in order to perform the functions of a Funeral Director. Possess and maintain necessary licensure or certification to meet local, state, and federal legal requirements to perform the function of embalming.
