MUST:
Experienced Law – Firm Paralegal
3 to 4 years of experience as a Paralegal working at a law firm
1-2 years of recent experience working in Family Law at a law firm
Must have experience working at a law firm recently
Handling all aspects of propounding and responding to discovery;
Document management, review and indexing or summarizing;
Deposition, hearing and trial prep and assistance;
Discovery and trial subpoenas;
Client interaction and support; and
Working with expert witnesses.
DUTIES:
A positive and friendly attitude
The ability to work independently, multi-task, and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment, supporting various litigators
Strong experience in legal research, including Westlaw and/or LexisNexis
Ability to prepare and edit subpoenas, simple motions, and other correspondence
Excellent verbal and written communication with strict attention to detail, and organization, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledgeable of e-filing, calendaring, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
