The Plastics Manager at Crystal Finishing Systems is responsible for overseeing the production and operations of the plastics division. This role involves managing the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality control, and optimizing efficiency in order to meet the company's production goals and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a dedicated plastics production team.

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance production performance.

• Build and inspire a talented team through coaching, training, and leadership.

• Create a safe, productive, and positive work environment.

• Collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional results for customers and the business.

• Leverage data and strategic planning to optimize resources, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency. 

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of overseeing industrial painting or similar coating experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience in a managerial role within a production environment.
• Demonstrated experience with quality control processes and lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience in budget management and cost control within a manufacturing setting.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of plastics materials, processes, and manufacturing technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Proficient in the use of manufacturing software and tools for production planning and scheduling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
