- Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging (preferred)
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in industrial product labeling and packaging
- Design, develop, and maintainlabeling solutions forindustrial / HVAC products, including primary, secondary, and logistics labels
- Ownlabel artwork development, version control, and change management in line with product and regulatory requirements
- Strong hands-on experience withlabel design software such as Bartender and CodeSoft
- Managelabel content definition including part numbers, barcodes, QR codes, regulatory symbols, multilingual text, and product information
- Ensure compliance withindustry standards and regulations (ASTM, ISO, customer standards, and regional compliance requirements)
- Collaborate closely withproduct design, quality, manufacturing, procurement, and regulatory teams
- SupportNPI / NPD programs by defining labeling requirements during early design stages
- Drivecost optimization and VAVE initiatives related to labels and marking solutions
- Supportsupplier development, RFQs, sourcing, prototyping, validation, and PPAP (where applicable)
- Resolvemanufacturing and field issues related to labeling durability, adhesion, readability, and traceability
- Document labeling specifications, validation reports, and engineering change documentation
- Strong expertise inindustrial labeling design and implementation
- Hands-on experience with:
- Bartender
- CodeSoft
- Barcode standards (1D / 2D – Code 128, QR, DataMatrix, etc.)
- Knowledge oflabel materials, adhesives, printing technologies (thermal transfer, direct thermal, laser, inkjet)
- Understanding ofenvironmental performance (temperature, humidity, chemical resistance, abrasion)
- Working knowledge ofpackaging and labeling standards (ASTM, ISTA, ISO)
- Strong background inmechanical engineering fundamentals
- Experience inHVAC or industrial products is highly preferred
- Proficiency inSAP,MS Office tools, and basicdata analysis for proposals and cost comparisons
- Strongverbal and written communication skills for interaction with internal teams and suppliers
