Supply Chain Internship (2027)

Key Responsibilities 

• Support the Plant Production, Maintenance and Engineering functions in delivering continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement and safety improvement.  

• Maintain equipment list, PM plan systems to monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement. 

• Assist the Engineering team in CAPEX project evaluation, including scope definition, technical design review and cost-benefit analysis.  

• Conduct training and competency development for plant operators to improve operational effectiveness and compliance.  

• Update and maintain engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with current plant operations.  

• Provide technical support for process optimization, troubleshooting and quality-related investigations.  

• Perform ad hoc engineering and operational improvement assignments as required. 

Project Highlights 

• Led engineering assessment and replacement planning for the Deionized (DI) Water System to improve operational reliability and water quality.  

• Supported implementation of a 3-Sided Labelling Machine to enhance productivity and labelling accuracy.  

• Developed improvement initiatives for Platform small package Filling and Packaging Operations to increase efficiency and operational performance.

Requirements 

• Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering 

• Skills in basic software applications like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint 

• Skills in use with AUTOCAD for Engineering drawings will be an added advantage 

• Good communication skills and ability to interact with contractors and vendors
