What to Expect
Tesla is on a mission to build a world of amazing abundance. This is one of the newest roles at Tesla, and you will be one of the first people in the seat. We are building the Ownership & Loyalty Advisor team, so our growth shows up where it matters: more current owners coming back for their next Tesla.
The advisor current Tesla owners talk to when they are deciding on their next vehicle.
Tesla's current owners are the most likely to buy again. This role exists to make that decision easy, honest, and worth repeating. You own a book of existing owners, not a pile of cold strangers. You learn about their situation, recommend the right next step, and stay with them through financing, trade-in, and delivery.
This is a sales role with a renewal target. You will not hit it by reading a script. You will hit it by being the person an owner trusts enough to come back to.
What You’ll Do
- Run a book of current owners who are approaching a decision: a new vehicle, a trade-in, a lease-end, or a clear "not yet." You decide who to contact, when, and why.
- Talk to them by phone, email, and chat. Most already like the car. Your job is to understand how they use it, what they want next, and what is in the way. Timing, budget, trade-in value, a partner who is not convinced.
- Turn that into a specific recommendation: configuration, payment, trade-in, and a realistic delivery timeline. Explain the numbers in plain language. Do not bury people in options.
- Be their Tesla contact from first conversation to handover. Coordinate test drives, contracts, and financing with the store, delivery, and HQ, so nothing drops between "yes" and keys in hand.
- Own the result. You are measured on renewal and delivery. Your pipeline, follow-ups, and handovers must be accurate enough that another advisor can pick up your book tomorrow.
- Tell us what the owners are saying. You are in these conversations all day. Product, process, and the renewal experience get better only if that feedback comes back clean.
A normal day
A managed list of owners. A plan for who needs a call, who needs a written follow-up, and who is ready to move. Live conversations, not a queue you clear. Clean notes. A handover that delivery can be trusted. Some days are quiet and deliberate. Some are stacked. You prioritize. Nobody is going to build your day for you.
What this is not
- Not a support queue, and not a loyalty-marketing role.
- Not cold outbound to people who have never owned a Tesla.
- Not a script. Owners can tell, and it costs the renewal.
You will do well here if
- You would rather earn a second purchase from someone who already owns the product than win a stranger in one call.
- You can explain payment, trade-in, and delivery timing without making it feel like a pitch.
- You keep your own follow-up. If it is not written down, it did not happen.
- You can handle a real target without becoming pushy, and a long sales cycle without going quiet.
- You like Tesla's products enough to learn them properly, and you are willing to say when one is not the right fit.
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years in a customer-facing role where you owned the follow-up and the outcome. Sales, advising, or account management. Automotive, financing, or leasing are useful. It is not required if you have handled a considered purchase and can learn about the product quickly.
- Clear spoken and written English and Danish.
- Enough comfort with numbers to walk someone through a payment, a trade-in, and what changes if they wait.
- A valid driver's license.
Helpful, not required
- CRM discipline. You have run your own pipeline, not just worked on one someone else built.
- Experience with financing, leasing, or trade-ins.
- You own a Tesla, or you know the lineup well enough to talk about real use, not brochure claims.
