Outside Sales Representative, Small Business

Pay: $57,420 to $77,700 per year base salary plus commission
Schedule: Full-time, direct hire
Where: Concord, California, hybrid (field sales, office time and some work from home days)

The Opportunity

Join the business sales team of a leading national wireless and telecommunications provider and help small businesses (1 to 9 employees) get connected. You will work alongside territory account executives, helping them find, pitch and close new customers. It is a hands-on way to learn B2B sales, and many people in this seat move up to their own territory.

How You Will Spend Your Week

• Prospecting and cold calling small business owners
• Walking local business districts and networking at community events
• Running discovery conversations and recommending the right mix of wireless and connectivity solutions
• Supporting territory account executives with research, follow up and closing
• Tracking your activity and hitting monthly sales goals

You Will Thrive Here If You

• Have 1 to 2 years of B2B, outside or field sales experience
• Like cold calling and prospecting and are not afraid of hearing no
• Are competitive and motivated by commission
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent

Big Plus - Not Required

• Telecom, wireless or SaaS sales background
• Experience selling to small business owners
• A network in the East Bay business community

What You Get

A base salary of $57,420 to $77,700, uncapped commission, full benefits and a clear path to a territory role. Relocation may be possible for the ideal candidate.
