ABOUT US Kalani Packaging is headquartered in Mukilteo, WA. We are a fast-growing distributor with multiple stocking locations across the United States. Our culture is built on respect, having fun, and working hard TOGETHER. We are a small team supporting Fortune 1000 companies around the nation; as well as local Puget Sound businesses.

This position has a primary responsibility of outside sales support, generating new business and supporting long term relationships with those customers. Sales support consists of building a good rapport with buyers and product end users, finding new opportunities, doing product demo’s, managing quote activity, working with packaging machines as needed to support sales and addressing customer concerns in a timely manner.

Essential Skills/Responsibilities:

Ability to communicate effectively. This includes communicating with customers professionally and courteously during sales appointments and sample demonstrations, checking how our products are working for the end users and communicating end user feedback or opportunities to the inside sales team.

Generate new sales via cold calls, developing leads with potential new customers and efficient and timely follow up on proposals submitted.

Strong organization and administrative skills to properly document and coordinate activities with the Kalani team. Effective communication is required.

Must be a motivated self starter to self manage themselves and grow the business.

Ability to build trust with customers and understand their primary purchasing objectives and cater proposals to meet customers objectives.
