Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico

At IAC Monterrey North Plant, we are looking for aProduct Engineer with experience in the automotive industry, responsible for providing end-to-end product follow-up, coordinating engineering changes, and serving as the link between the customer and the plant.

This position requires a professional with strong follow-up, organizational, and communication skills, capable of translating customer requirements into actionable plans with internal teams and ensuring proper implementation in terms of timing, cost, and quality.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on engineering changes.
• Coordinate the implementation of customer requirements with the internal areas involved.
• Provide technical and operational follow-up throughout the different stages of the product.
• Act as the direct link between the customer and the plant.
• Participate in follow-up meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Manage product technical information, BOMs, routings, and related documentation.
• Support cost analysis and cost estimations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience in a similar position within theautomotive industry.
• Experience inautomotive interiors.
• Experience withdirect customer interaction.
• Advanced English is required.
• Experience with customers such asGM and/orTesla is desirable.
• Knowledge ofCore Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan.
• Knowledge ofengineering changes,BOM management, androutings.
• Experience withERP systems is desirable.
• Experience withQAD, Prolink, and Teamcenter is preferred.
