OTA Operations Specialist (Open to Fresher)

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven OTA Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day operations while proactively optimizing core operational processes for South East Asia markets. In this role, you will own key workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, serve as a strategic liaison between business and technology teams, and leverage modern AI and automation tools to drive team efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Execution

• Manage end-to-end day-to-day OTA operations, including booking management, invoicing, and cross-functional communications with customers and suppliers.
• Continuously review existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, risks, and performance bottlenecks.
• Independently author clear, scalable, and high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to establish and elevate operational standards across teams.

Supplier & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Streamline and optimize supplier ticketing, reconciliation, and integration workflows.
• Leverage data insights and modern tools to enhance collaboration, minimize manual error rates, and build scalable operating models.

Problem Solving & Requirements Gathering

• Serve as the primary operational liaison between business stakeholder units and tech development teams.
• Proactively identify system pain points, feature gaps, and daily workflow hurdles.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications, driving automation initiatives through to complete deployment.

AI & Automation Integration

• Evaluate and integrate tailored AI solutions for content generation, image creation, data analysis, and workflow automation.
• Apply modern AI tools to optimize product listing enhancements, customer support response mechanisms, data processing, and automated reporting.
• Champion a continuous improvement culture, driving ongoing productivity gains for both individual and team workflows.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Education:Bachelor's degree or above in Tourism & Hospitality Management, Business Management, Business Analytical or a related field (preferred).
• Industry Experience: 
  • Prior hands-on operations experience at a leading Online Travel Agency (OTA), e-commerce, or tech company.

• Data Analysis:Data-driven mindset with a strong capability to detect business risks through data anomaly detection and formulate effective solutions.
  

Technical & AI Proficiency

• AI Tools Utilization:Proven experience utilizing advanced AI models and platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot) for content creation, image generation, and data analysis.
• Efficiency Optimization:Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and iteratively refine AI-driven efficiency initiatives.
