Role description:

TheTesterisresponsibleforthequalityofthedeliveredsystems,partlyresponsibleforthetestpolicy,theorganization offunctionalandtechnicaltestactivitiesandgood(collaboration)withdevelopmentteamanddomainexpertsto guaranteeefficientandcontinuousoperationofsoftwareandthisbasedonthestandardsregardingqualityassurance

Responsibilities:

• Determiningthetestcases,testplanandperformingthesystemintegrationandregressiontests toensuretheefficientandcontinuousoperationofthesoftware

• Youarepartlyresponsibleforateststrategythatdescribeshowthesystemisoptimallytested

• Ifnecessary,atestplan/teststrategyisdrawnup
• YoudescribethetestspecificationsforeachSprint /Releasethatalsocontaindocumentedtestcases
• Youmanagechecklistsforinstallationtestingandregressiontesting
• Youperformsystemintegrationandregressiontests
• Youcontributetothetestautomation
• Testdatamanagement
• Defectmanagement

• Developing,monitoringandfollowinguponawiderangeoftestplansandanalyses,aswellasfollow-up oftheincidentsolution(s)toensurethatthesoftwaremeetstheneedsandexpectationsoftheenduser. 
• Reporttothe partiesinvolved(internal/external)
• Analyzingandevaluatingthetestresultsandco-guidingandsupportingBusiness
• AcceptanceTesting(BAT)
• Beresponsibleforadding/keepingtheautomatedtestdataandregressionuptodate scenariosinclosecollaborationwiththerespectiveteams
• Encouragingefficientuseofautomationduringthevarioustestphases
• Beresponsibleforbuildingandmaintainingthetestknowledgedatabaseandothers documentation
• Checksthatalltestenvironmentsarereadyfortesting,thetestplan/scenariocontainsinformationaboutwhichtest environmentsareneededtoproperlyperformthetests

• Actasapointofcontactforhis/herdomaintoprovidethenecessaryadvice/answerquestionsbasedonhis/herownexpertise
• Describethenatureandlevelofcontactsthispositionhaswithothers,bothinternallyandexternally.
