We’re looking for a curious, research-minded engineer to join our team and work on exploratory projects at the intersection of AI and vision technology. This is a research-first role — you’ll be investigating open-ended problems, prototyping novel approaches, and helping shape solutions where there isn’t yet a well-defined path. We work with an AI-first mindset, using the latest AI tools and techniques to move fast and push what’s possible. If you love digging into hard problems, reading papers, and turning ideas into working prototypes, this role is for you.

Whatyou’ll be doing:

• Research, prototype, and evaluate approaches to challenging problems in AI and vision technology
• Translate research ideas into working proofs-of-concept and experiments
• Leverage modern AI tools and frameworks to accelerate research, prototyping, and problem-solving
• Stay current with the latest developments in AI, computer vision, and machine learning, and bring relevant ideas to the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore how research can address real product and customer needs
• Document findings, share learnings, and contribute to the team’s research direction

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier engineering institute
• 0–3 years of experience (fresh graduates with strong research aptitude are encouraged to apply)
• Demonstrated ability to solve unsolved problems and have the aptitude to research and experiment using first principles.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, self-driven, and motivated by hard, open-ended problems
• An AI-first approach — you instinctively reach for AI tools to learn faster, prototype quicker, and solve problems more effectively
• Active badge holder on Salesforce Trailhead. 
• AI-assisted testing using tools like Claude, Cursor, or Codex for test case generation and automation scripting.

Good to Have

• Exposure to computer vision — image processing, object/pattern recognition, OCR, or related areas
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools, LLMs, or AI-assisted development workflows
• Research experience demonstrated through publications, thesis work, competitions (e.g., Kaggle), or notable projects
• Experience building prototypes or experimental systems end to end
• Strong programming fundamentals (Python preferred) and a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and mathematical foundations
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
