Lead Teacher

Full Time, First Shift – M-F time may vary according to children’s schedules

This position exists to guide children through developmentally appropriate activities that will encourage social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.

Job Duties:

• Meet the physical and emotional needs of children and supervise children diligently to minimize hazards.
• Make mealtime a pleasant learning experience and teach proper hygiene to children.
• Keep open communication with parents to inform them of their child’s progress.
• Plan, prepare and implement selected curriculum and submit lesson plans weekly to Supervisor, Manager or Program Coordinator.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree
• CDA credential can substitute for a degree
• One year of job-related experience
• Must obtain 15 hours of annual training as required by the Division of Childcare within 1 year
