JOB SUMMARY
The IVE Organizer will support the Can’t Stop Voting Program with Working Partnerships USA to protect our right to vote by participating in election defense and public education. The Can’t Stop activations will include planning Joy to the Polls events, Voter protection training, and distributing voter guides. The coordinator will work with local partners and the community to activate the public to turnout to events.
DAILY ACTIVITIES
- Mobilize Anchor base and new supporters to take Can’t Stop actions (i.e party to the polls, vote protector, etc.).
- Through your respective outreach and recruitment, I.D. digital and in-real-life pledges.
- Coordinates with CEP Lead on program progress and attends weekly Cali Calls meetings and any pertinent trainings.
- Track base mobilization through identified tools for each respective action.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be available from October 12, 2026 through November 21, 2026.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to connect with diverse people, always maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Must be professional and able to work well in a team
- Must arrive on the correct date, time and location during designated time, including reliable transportation to get to our office.
- Must be able to use a cellphone, laptop, zoom, web browser and canvassing application.
- Must have strong commitment to social and racial justice

PREFERRED
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior canvassing or phone banking experience
- A driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to a car is strongly preferred. Reliable transportation is required.
SCHEDULE, WAGES, LOCATION
- This is a temporary, part-time, non-exempt position.
- This position will be 20-25 hours a week Monday- Friday. Additionally, candidates will be required to work half days on some weekends.
- Salary Range $28-$30/hour
- Team Members who use a personal vehicle for the position will be reimbursed for mileage according to the federal mileage reimbursement rate. Options for transit reimbursement may be available.
- Our office is located at 2302 Zanker Road, San Jose
