The Warehouse Order Builder is responsible for but not limited to the following job duties:
Treating team with respect, taking an "I'm responsible" approach to safety
Shift starts at 11am and ends when last order is pulled. Monday - Thursday (except Holiday weeks)
Buildpallets by stop and load directly on truck using a ride on pallet jack (walkie-rider)
Pick Customer Dock Sales and Salesman orders as neededBuild orders for next day delivery untilall orders have been completedWeigh and stretch wrap all picked orders on palletsPick orders with accuracy and efficiency verifying weight of EVERY pallet / correct pallets that have discrepanciesPick product in proper code date rotationClean breakage and spills as they occurPick up stretch film, wooden pallets and other debris from floorRepacking damaged productSafely operate various types of material handling equipmentPerform any additional duties as requestedCheck with Supervisor for additional work assignments before ending shift
The Warehouse Person primary qualifications include:
Must be 18 years of ageWork various shiftsClock in at start of shift, out at end of shift and breaks or meal periodsReport to work as scheduled or contact Supervisor if tardy or absentDress in company provided uniformsAbility to lift/carry 10 to 50 pound cases of productAdhere to and comply with company safety guidelines, policies and proceduresAbility to work in a Controlled Warehouse Environment (cold temperature tolerance)Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job including: bend, stoop/squat, push/pull and reach above shoulders Must be able to work well with others in a team environmentincluding crew, sales, and management
