Our Identity & Access Management team is responsible for ensuring that only authorized users have the appropriate access to perform their jobs, with team members located in Waterford and around the globe. Right now, we are looking for people who are passionate about technology and Information Security and the important role it plays in keeping people and their data safe to join us and experience what it’s like to work within the Information Security field.
Eligibility:
These internship opportunities are open exclusively to current third-year degree students who are required to complete an internship or work placement as a mandatory part of their degree programme / coursework. Applicants must be returning to their studies following the internship and be able to provide confirmation from their educational institution that the placement forms part of their course requirements.

Overview of what we do:
Identity and Access Management (IAM) is an exciting and expanding area within Cyber Security that offers many different career paths. IAM focuses on ensuring that the right individuals have the appropriate access to the systems and information they need to do their jobs, while preventing unauthorized access. Through a combination of processes, policies, and technology, IAM teams manage the entire lifecycle of digital identities, from onboarding and access provisioning to access changes and deactivation, helping organizations stay secure and compliant.
Responsibilities/tasks:
As anIdentity and Access Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals while developing practical skills in Identity and Access Management. During your internship, you will:
- Help manage user access across critical business systems and applications.
- Respond to access-related questions and support requests from employees.
- Investigate and resolve user access issues.
- Partner with multiple IAM teams to support access governance and security initiatives.
- Learn how service levels and operational standards are managed in a global organization.
- Support compliance activities by applying access control standards and security policies.
**Interns in this position will work fully on-site at our Waterford office for the duration of their internship. **
