Role Overview: As an Oracle HCM Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients make their Oracle ERP and HCM Cloud environments secure, compliant, and sustainable. Traditional system integrators often overlook the risks associated with default "seeded" roles. In this role, you will leverage our proprietaryERP Armor solutions to design custom roles, manage security profiles, and ensure organizations are protected from internal fraud, compliance violations, and cyber security threats.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Role Design & Remediation: Replace over-provisioned out-of-the-box seeded roles by building and deploying highly customized,"least privilege" roles.
  • HCM Security Configuration: Oversee IT security configuration, including role creation, updates, and managing the security console (including Active Directory and SSO). You will specifically be responsible forcreating and managing data roles and the HCM security profiles associated with them.
  • Safe User Provisioning: Manage IT user provisioning to ensure employees have the correct data access to perform their jobs, while strictly ensuring they haveno unauthorized access to sensitive HR data or Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • HCM DataLoader Security: Identify requirements, review, and design template security specifically for theHCM DataLoader.
  • Risk & Conflict Mitigation: Utilize theERP Armor: Rules library to evaluate role design and monitor thousands of privileges to mitigateSegregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts and Sensitive Access (SA) risks.
  • Audit & Controls Maintenance: Baseline and update Audit Policies quarterly to align with Oracle patches. You will also map roles to the client's Risk and Controls Matrix (RACM) to ensure compliance with external audit requirements.
Required Expertise:
  • Deep functional and technical expertise in theOracle ERP and HCM Cloud platform.
  • Comprehensive understanding of modern external audit requirements, includingSOX compliance within SaaS applications.
  • Strong foundational knowledge ofIT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs).
  • Experience with access control software, User Access Reviews, and role change management processes.
