About The Job:
- In essence, youre looking for a strong Oracle Fusion Functional Specialist with solid business understanding, hands-on configuration and support experience, and the ability to work independently while engaging effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Has a strong understanding of both business and systems, particularly within finance and project environments, and can translate business needs into system solutions.
- Is able to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Has strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Can communicate effectively with stakeholders across business and IT teams.
- Is comfortable driving continuous improvements, not just supporting existing processes.
- Can operate in a hybrid support and delivery Managed Service role, managing day-to-day support alongside enhancements and small change initiatives.
Key Oracle Skills
- The focus is on Oracle Fusion (Cloud ERP), particularly within:
Core modules:
- PPM (Project Portfolio Management) project costing, budgeting, billing, contracts, and tracking.
- Fixed Assets (FA) asset lifecycle management and depreciation.
Core capabilities:
- System configuration and handling minor enhancements.
- End-user support and issue resolution.
- Incident management and root cause analysis.
- Testing, including regression testing.
- Functional documentation (requirements, solution design, etc.).
- Managing system updates, patches, and releases.
Additional desirable skills:
- Basic SQL / PL-SQL knowledge.
- Exposure to APIs and reporting tools (OTBI / OBIEE).
- Understanding of key finance processes such as P2P, R2R, and O2C.
