We're seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Consultant to lead the configuration, setup, and validation of Fusion PPM for a large, project driven organization. This consultant will work closely with finance, project controls, and IT teams to translate business requirements into a working PPM solution, validate data and functionality ahead of go live, and ensure the module integrates cleanly with Fusion Financials.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and set up Oracle Fusion PPM modules, including Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Control, and Project Management as required
• Define and build project types, project templates, organizations, resource breakdown structures, expenditure types, burdening schedules, and cost and revenue rules
• Lead functional validation of PPM setups, including unit testing, system integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing
• Validate converted project data from legacy systems (such as JD Edwards) into Fusion, including open projects, budgets, commitments, and cost history, and reconcile results with finance stakeholders
• Configure and test integrations between PPM and General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, and Time and Labor
• Gather and document business requirements, design decisions, and configuration workbooks
• Troubleshoot setup and data issues, working with Oracle Support through SR resolution where needed
• Partner with the PMO and project accounting teams on process design, reporting needs, and training
• Support cutover activities and stabilization after go live

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Oracle Projects experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Fusion PPM implementations
• Hands on configuration experience across Project Costing and Project Billing at minimum
• Strong understanding of project accounting concepts, including capitalization, revenue recognition, burdening, and cost allocation
• Proven experience with data validation and conversion testing using FBDI or similar tools
• Working knowledge of Fusion Financials integration points (GL, AP, AR, Procurement)
• Experience writing test scripts and managing test cycles
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with finance and operations stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction, utilities, energy, or infrastructure environments
• Background in migrations from JD Edwards or other legacy ERPs to Oracle Fusion
• Familiarity with OTBI and BI Publisher reporting for PPM
• Oracle Cloud PPM certification
• Exposure to project controls tools such as Primavera P6
