Role:Oracle Fusion Payables / Payments Consultant (AP)
Length: 5 months (extension possible)
Hours:40 hrs per week

Position Summary
We're seeking an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Payables/Payments resource to support AP operations and payments execution in an environment where Kyriba is the Treasury platform. This role will own/drive Oracle AP and Payments configuration, payment processing, issue resolution, and cross-system coordination so that payment files, acknowledgements, and reconciliations flow smoothly between Oracle and Kyriba (and onward to banking partners).
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion Payables / Payments (Core)
  • Configure and support Oracle Fusion Payables and Oracle Fusion Payments to meet AP and payment processing requirements.
  • Own invoice processing lifecycle support: validation, holds, approvals (if enabled), accounting, and troubleshooting.
  • Support payment processing end-to-end:
    • Payment process requests (PPRs), payment selection, formatting, approvals, exceptions
    • Payment methods (ACH, wire, check, etc. as applicable), payment cancellations/reissues
  • Support AP operational controls and audit requirements (payment approvals, segregation of duties support, evidence/documentation).
Kyriba Treasury Integration / Payment Factory Coordination
  • Partner with Treasury and IT to support the Oracle ? Kyriba payment handoff (and Kyriba ? bank execution).
  • Help define and validate integration requirements including:
    • Payment file format expectations (e.g., ACH/wire formats), remittance detail needs
    • Payment statuses/acknowledgements and return messaging (as designed)
    • Controls, approvals, and cutoffs across AP , Kyriba, and banking
  • Troubleshoot payment issues spanning systems (Oracle setup vs file content vs Kyriba mapping/processing vs bank response).
  • Support reconciliation touchpoints (payment confirmations, exceptions, returned payments) and ensure AP has clear operational procedures.
Testing, Cutover, and Documentation
  • Create and execute test plans for AP /Payments and Kyriba-related scenarios (SIT/UAT/regression).
  • Build runbooks/SOPs for payment operations, exception handling, and month-end close impacts.
  • Support releases and change control: validate security/role impacts, configuration changes, and production deployments.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Payables and Payments.
  • Strong functional experience with payment runs/PPRs, payment formats, and payment exceptions.
  • Experience supporting integrations involving payment files and downstream systems (Treasury, banks, or payment hubs).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across AP , Treasury, IT, and (as needed) banking partners/vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience integrating Oracle (Fusion or EBS) payments with Kyriba (or a comparable Treasury Management System).
  • Experience with Cash Management / Bank integrations, payment acknowledgements, and reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with common payment methods and controls (ACH, wires, positive pay , cutoffs, approvals).
  • Implementation experience (design ? build ? test ? deploy) and/or steady-state production support for payments
