About The Job:
- The client is transitioning from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 to SAP. The Oracle team will support the SAP implementation/migration by providing functional knowledge of the existing Oracle EBS solution and supporting the identification, mapping, extraction validation, transformation, reconciliation, and migration of SCM and Manufacturing data into SAP-provided templates.
- Oracle EBS R12 to SAP Transition
- Work with the SAP migration team and business stakeholders to understand the data requirements for the SAP transition.
- Analyze existing Oracle EBS R12 SCM and Manufacturing configurations, processes, and data structures.
- Identify the appropriate Oracle EBS source for master, transactional, and open transaction data required for SAP.
- Perform functional mapping between Oracle EBS data and SAP migration template requirements.
- Define and document data extraction and transformation rules from a functional perspective.
- Support technical resources in understanding Oracle EBS data relationships and business rules.
- Validate extracted and transformed data for functional accuracy and completeness.
- Support data cleansing, mapping, reconciliation, and exception resolution.
- Assist business teams in identifying legacy/open transactions that need to be migrated.
- Support multiple mock conversion cycles, reconciliation, cutover, and final production migration.
- Investigate and resolve SCM/Manufacturing data discrepancies identified during migration.
- Prepare and maintain source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, and migration documentation.
- Coordinate closely with SAP functional, migration, Oracle technical, and business teams.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Strong functional experience in Oracle EBS R12 SCM and Manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of Oracle EBS business processes and data across:
- Inventory Management
- Purchasing
- Order Management
- Shipping Execution
- Bills of Material (BOM)
- Work in Process (WIP)
- Item Master / Product Data
- Supply Chain and Manufacturing transactions
- Strong understanding of master data, transactional data, open transactions, and historical data within Oracle EBS.
- Hands-on experience supporting data migration, conversion, extraction, reconciliation, or ERP transformation projects.
- Ability to identify Oracle EBS source data and define business rules required for transformation into target-system templates.
- Strong understanding of dependencies and relationships between SCM and Manufacturing data objects.
- Experience validating large data extracts and reconciling migrated data against Oracle EBS.
- Ability to work closely with technical teams on extraction logic and resolve data-related issues.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience supporting Oracle EBS to SAP migration/transition programs.
- Exposure to SAP migration templates or SAP data migration activities.
- Experience with large-scale ERP transformation, carve-out, divestiture, or legacy-system retirement projects.
Key Requirement
- The candidate must be a strong Oracle EBS R12 SCM/Manufacturing Functional Consultant capable of understanding existing Oracle business processes and data, identifying the correct source information, defining mapping/transformation requirements, and validating data delivered to the SAP migration team.
- SAP configuration expertise is not mandatory.
