Role Summary

We are looking for an Intermediate Database Developer/Analyst with strong hands-on experience inOracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server. The candidate will be responsible for database development, SQL programming, data analysis, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise applications in collaboration with development and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain database solutions usingOracle DB and SQL Server.
• Develop and optimize complexSQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database scripts.
• Perform data analysis and troubleshoot database/application data issues.
• Support database integration and data processing requirements across applications.
• Conduct query tuning and identify opportunities for database performance optimization.
• Participate in defect analysis, root-cause investigation, testing, and production support activities.
• Work closely with application developers, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
• Follow established development, deployment, documentation, and change-management standards.
• Support code reviews and ensure database changes follow coding and security best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on database development experience.
• Strong experience withOracle Database.
• Strong experience withMicrosoft SQL Server.
• Excellent knowledge ofSQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience developing and maintainingstored procedures, functions, views, joins, and complex SQL queries.
• Good understanding ofquery optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience troubleshooting database and data-related issues.
• Understanding ofdatabase design, data modeling, indexing, and normalization.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders in anonshore delivery model.

Good to Have

• Experience withPL/SQL and T-SQL.
• Experience with ETL/data integration processes.
• Knowledge of source-control and CI/CD practices for database deployments.
• Experience working inBanking/Financial Services (BFSI) environments.
