Job Title: Oracle Data Migration Lead 

The Oracle Data Migration Lead is responsible forend‐to‐end data migration strategy, design, execution, validation, and cutover for Oracle implementations and transformations. The role ensuresdata accuracy, completeness, integrity, and reconciliation while managing stakeholders across business, functional, and technical teams.

This role typically supportsOracle Fusion Financials, SCM, HCM, and EPM implementations, especially inglobal, multi‐ledger, multi‐currency environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Migration Strategy & Governance
  • Define and own thedata migration strategy, approach, and methodology for Oracle Cloud implementations.
  • Establishdata scope, migration waves, sequencing, and cutover plans.
  • Definedata ownership, RACI, and governance framework.
  • Align data migration approach withbusiness process design and implementation timelines.
• Data Assessment & Design
  • Performsource system analysis (EBS, legacy ERPs, third‐party systems, spreadsheets).
  • Leaddata profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and gap analysis.
  • Definedata mapping documents (source → Oracle target).
  • Collaborate with Functional Leads (GL, AP, AR, FA, SCM, HCM) to ensure correct data design.
• Oracle Data Migration Execution
  • Design and execute migration using:
    • FBDI / ADFDI.
    • REST APIs.
    • OTBI / BI Publisher extracts.
    • SQL / PL‐SQL scripts.
  • Manage migration for:
    • Chart of Accounts.
    • Suppliers / Customers.
    • Opening Balances.
    • Assets (A2R).
    • Inventory.
    • Employees.
    • Historical and transactional data (as required).
• Test Cycles & Validation
  • Own execution for:
    • Mock / SIT migration.
    • UAT migration.
    • Pre‐Production migration.
    • Go‐Live migration.
  • Validate:
    • Record counts.
    • Financial balances.
    • Asset values.
    • Subledger ↔ GL reconciliation.
  • Ensure successful resolution ofdata defects and reconciliation issues.
• Cutover & Go‐Live Support
  • Leadfinal cutover planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with:
    • Implementation team.
    • Technical team.
    • Business users.
    • Client PMO.
  • Ensurezero‐defect critical data load.
  • Providehypercare support post go‐live.
• Stakeholder & Team Management
  • Act as thesingle point of contact for data migration.
  • Manage onshore/offshore data teams.
  • Communicate risks, issues, and status to leadership.
  • Work closely with:
    • Program Managers.
    • Functional Leads.
    • Technical Architects.
    • Client SMEs.
• Risk & Quality Management
  • Identify data risks early and define mitigation strategies.
  • Establishaudit trails and version control.
  • Ensure compliance withdata security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain migration documentation and sign‐offs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Functional & Oracle Expertise
  • 8–15 years of experience inOracle ERP implementations.
  • Strong experience inOracle Fusion Cloud data migration.
  • Good understanding of:
    • GL, AP, AR, FA, SCM, HCM modules.
    • Chart of Accounts and ledgers.
    • Multi‐currency and global rollouts.
• Technical Skills:
  • FBDI / ADFDI framework expertise.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs (preferred).
  • Experience with ETL tools (preferred).
  • Excel power user (large datasets).
• Project & Leadership Skills
  • Experience inglobal implementation programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication.
  • Ability to managetight timelines and multiple migration cycles.
  • Experience working withSIs, vendors, and offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications.
• Experience migrating fromOracle EBS → Fusion.
• Financial Services / Manufacturing / Retail domain experience.
• Prior experience asData Migration Lead or Data Architect.
