Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer for a 6-month contract
engagement to design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reporting
solutions using Oracle APEX, Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP), and Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure (OCI).
The primary focus will be developing executive and operational dashboards for Oracle
Fusion Cloud ERP, including Finance, Projects, Contracts, Procurement, and other
business functions.
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, ATP,
OCI, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Fusion ERP integrations. This is a
hands-on development role requiring the ability to independently deliver production-
ready dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards using Oracle APEX.
- Build executive and operational dashboards with KPIs, charts, filters, drill-down
- capabilities, and reporting.
- Develop dashboards for Oracle Fusion Financials, Projects, Contracts,
- Extract, transform, and integrate data from Oracle Fusion Cloud into Oracle
- Autonomous Database (ATP).
- Develop and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST
- APIs, and BI Publisher.
- Develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, database views, and data
- models to support dashboards.
- Work with functional consultant to translate requirements into dashboard
- solutions.
- Implement role-based security, data access controls, and appropriate Business
- Unit restrictions.
- Optimize dashboard performance, data refresh processes, and reporting
- accuracy.
- Develop reusable dashboard components and establish development standards.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.
- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to the internal IT team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and applications using
- Oracle APEX.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP) and Oracle
- Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including developing and
- maintaining integrations.
- Strong experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, particularly Financials,
- Projects, Contracts, and Procurement.
- Experience extracting and integrating Oracle Fusion data using REST APIs, BI
- Publisher, and OIC.
- Experience designing database schemas, data models, views, and stored
- procedures.
- Strong understanding of dashboard design, KPI reporting, data visualization, and
- performance optimization.
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database development.
- Experience implementing application security, role-based access, and data-level
- security.
- Ability to independently design, develop, test, and deploy production-ready
- dashboards.
- Experience developing executive-level financial and operational dashboards.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion OTBI and BI Publisher reporting.
- Experience working in Oracle Government Cloud environments.
Expected Deliverables
- Production-ready Oracle APEX dashboards for prioritized business functions.
- Executive dashboards with KPIs, visualizations, filters, and drill-down reporting.
- Automated data extraction and integration between Oracle Fusion and ATP.
- Secure, scalable, and optimized dashboard solutions deployed on OCI.
- Documented data models, integrations, and dashboard configurations.
- Knowledge transfer to the internal IT team.
- Production deployment and stabilization support.
Engagement Objective
The objective of this 6-month engagement is to design and deliver a scalable Oracle
APEX dashboard platform integrated with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, providing Finance
and executive leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable financial and operational
insights.
The selected candidate must be capable of independently managing the technical
development lifecycle, from requirements and solution design through development,
testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer.
