Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI

We are hiring a Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI to migrate on-prem applications to AWS and modernize workloads with AI features. You will shape migration strategy, build secure AWS architectures, and automate delivery with IaC and CI/CD while using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and OpenAI APIs—apply now.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle migrations of on-prem applications to AWS using Rehost, Replatform and Refactor approaches
• Assess current infrastructure, map dependencies and define a migration strategy
• Design scalable, secure and cost-optimized AWS architectures
• Execute hands-on migrations using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS DataSync and Snowball
• Build and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Automate deployment workflows with GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
• Implement observability with CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into cloud workloads such as chatbots, automation and data insights
• Apply Generative AI services in AWS including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs
• Drive AI-driven automation across DevOps and migration processes

Requirements

• Proven 5 to 8 years of professional experience in cloud engineering and migration
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS compute services including EC2, Lambda and ECS/EKS
• Hands-on proficiency with AWS storage services such as S3, EBS and EFS
• Solid understanding of AWS database services including RDS, Aurora and DynamoDB
• Strong background in AWS networking with VPC, VPN and Direct Connect
• Practical expertise in AWS security services including IAM, KMS and Secrets Manager
• Hands-on experience with AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS and DataSync/Snowball
• Demonstrated competency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools including GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
• Good understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
• Basic to intermediate exposure to Generative AI services including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM-based application use cases
