Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI

We are seeking a Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI to lead cloud migrations to AWS and introduce generative AI features into production workloads. You will design AWS architectures, implement Terraform/CloudFormation, and automate delivery with GitLab CI/Jenkins/CodePipeline while applying Bedrock, SageMaker, and OpenAI APIs—apply now.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migrations of on-prem applications to AWS using Rehost, Replatform and Refactor approaches
• Review existing infrastructure, identify dependencies and define the migration strategy
• Design scalable, secure and cost-optimized AWS architectures
• Run migrations using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS DataSync and Snowball
• Create and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Develop CI/CD automation with GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
• Implement monitoring and logging with CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into cloud workloads such as chatbots, automation and data insights
• Apply Generative AI services in AWS including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs
• Drive AI-driven automation in DevOps and migration processes

Requirements

• Documented 5 to 8 years of professional experience in cloud engineering and migration
• Advanced expertise in AWS compute services including EC2, Lambda and ECS/EKS
• Proficiency with AWS storage services such as S3, EBS and EFS
• Strong knowledge of AWS database services including RDS, Aurora and DynamoDB
• Sound background in AWS networking with VPC, VPN and Direct Connect
• Experience with AWS security services including IAM, KMS and Secrets Manager
• Hands-on work with AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS and DataSync/Snowball
• Solid competency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Proven use of CI/CD tools including GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
• Working understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
• Basic to intermediate exposure to Generative AI services including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM-based application use cases
