Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI

We are looking for a Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI to move on-prem systems to AWS and embed AI-driven capabilities into cloud solutions. You will run assessments, implement MGN/DMS/DataSync/Snowball migrations, and deliver IaC, CI/CD, and monitoring with CloudWatch/CloudTrail/Prometheus—apply today.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end migrations from on-prem environments to AWS using Rehost, Replatform and Refactor approaches
• Evaluate existing infrastructure, uncover dependencies and set the migration strategy
• Architect scalable, secure and cost-optimized AWS solutions
• Operate AWS migration tools including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS DataSync and Snowball to complete moves
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure through Terraform or CloudFormation
• Set up and maintain CI/CD automation using GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
• Deploy monitoring and logging via CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
• Embed AI/ML capabilities into cloud workloads such as chatbots, automation and data insights
• Leverage Generative AI services in AWS including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs
• Implement AI-driven automation to improve DevOps and migration processes

Requirements

• Extensive 5 to 8 years of professional experience in cloud engineering and migration
• Deep expertise in AWS compute services including EC2, Lambda and ECS/EKS
• Strong proficiency with AWS storage services such as S3, EBS and EFS
• Solid knowledge of AWS database services including RDS, Aurora and DynamoDB
• Hands-on background in AWS networking with VPC, VPN and Direct Connect
• Strong command of AWS security services including IAM, KMS and Secrets Manager
• Practical experience using AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS and DataSync/Snowball
• Hands-on competency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
• Basic to intermediate experience with Generative AI services including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs
• Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM-based application use cases
